My Favorite Place to Eat on the Hill in St. Louis, Missouri
Have you ever sat down at a restaurant, ordered something that looked good on the menu and when it arrived you took a bite, only to find that it was one of the most amazing things you have ever tasted? Well, I can say that I had that happen at a quaint little restaurant on The Hill in St. Louis.
My family and I love the city of St. Louis and as we were trying out new places in the city we visited a restaurant called Mama’s on the Hill. This small Italian restaurant that sits on the corner of Edward St. and Biscohoff Ave. invites travelers and locals to come in, sit down and enjoy a tasty meal.

When I visit Mama’s, I always order one of my Italian food go to’s – Manicotti. I would love to say I’ve tried a lot of different things on the menu but after trying the Manicotti I just haven’t been able to convince myself that anything could taste better (although I’m pretty sure my sister would tell you the same thing about the red pepper ravioli).

So what makes the manicotti so amazing? The sauce! On top of the tubular noodles is a sweet red sauce like no other along with a creamy white sauce. The combination of the two feels like a happy little party is happening in your mouth with each delicious bite. (Are you hungry yet?)
So needless to say, I plan on going back to Mama’s on the Hill and enjoying that amazing Italian food and I highly recommend it to everyone wanting to find a special restaurant in this city.
