And for the traveler who might need to charge their phone you can plug in your phone to one of the charging stations located in this building.

This is a great option for those who love quilts but don’t have the time to do the work themselves.

While the Let’s Make Art shop is not one of the many fabric shops lining the street, it is what they call a “sister shop” of the Missouri Star. Here you will find art supplies for varying projects. So, if you have other hobbies besides quilting (or want to try out something new) you may like to come in a while and look around.

Penney’s Quilt Shop
Walking across the street you will find Penney’s quilt shop. The thing that really makes this shop special is the how they pay tribute to JC Penney throughout the shop, as Hamilton, Missouri is JC Penney’s hometown. From the rustic look of the building to old timey decor on the walls, the atmosphere is a fun one to have as you look through the different fabrics in the store.

Man’s Land
Traveling with a non-quilter? They may like to check out Man’s Land. This small room is set up next to the Machine Shed shop and is equipped with everything you need to relax while the quilters and seamstresses in your life are shopping. Here you will see two rows of recliners pointed towards a TV as well as a pool table and snack machine. Bring a book, take a nap or watch a show and let the time slip by.

The last fabric shop along this row is Batik Boutique. Here you will find beautifully designed Batik fabrics in a variety of colors. These bright colors are sure to make anyone smile as they look through the shelves.

One Big Happy Yarn Company
The very last shop on this side of the street is the One Big Happy Yarn Company shop. This is another sister shop of the Missouri Star and it is dedicated to everything yarn!
